BEHIND THE SCENES:
SIMPLICITY DOESN'T LACK IMPACT.
Curated. Intentional. Refined.
MY APPROACH:
At its core, design is a way to communicate a message to an audience through visuals. That can look vastly different depending on its creator. My approach to design comes from the idea that less is more.

I believe that simplicity makes things beautiful. The goal of design is to portray a message in the quickest and clearest way possible. By keeping things simple, it allows the design to speak for itself in a
beautiful & impactful way.
DESIGN MAY BE SUBJECTIVE, BUT CREATIVITY ISN'T.

MEET THE DESIGNER

a passionate typesetter who loves to problem solve through
organized layout design and a refined color palette.

Hi — I'm Jo, a graphic designer, typography lover, furniture flipper, foodie, cat mom, veteran.
We all have many titles, but I am most proud to have the freedom to express myself through design.
I am fascinated by the way the simplest of designs can have the greatest impact. I have always considered myself a problem solver and design allows me to do that while letting my creativity run free. My favorite part of design is the moment when design meets solution, like fireworks going off
after a home-winning baseball game, go Guardians! (Born & raised Clevelander)

My experience as a designer began when I graduated from Kent State University in 2019 with a BFA in Visual Communication Design. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients that has allowed me to grow into the designer that I am today. Another impactful part of my journey was enlisted in the United States Army in 2016. I was honored to serve seven years before trying my hand in the Air Force Reserves, which I am still serving in to this day. My time in the military has curated a sense of discipline in me that I carry with me through all stages of life.

I am grateful for every stage of life that has brought me to where I am today — experiencing every day for the first time, just like everyone else. Whether traveling the world, deploying with the military, or hanging out with friends, I am ever-growing.
